Senior Frontend Engineer

🇳🇬 HIRING: SENIOR FRONTEND ENGINEER 🏢 Company: Kuda 📍 Location: Lagos 💼 Employment Type: Full-Time 🏠 Work Mode: Hybrid Responsibilities * Meeting with the development team to discuss user interface ideas and applications. * Reviewing application requirements, interface designs, and identifying web-based user interactions. * Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code. * Troubleshooting interface software and debugging application codes. * Developing and implementing front-end architecture to support user interface concepts. * Monitoring and improving front-end performance. * Documenting application changes and developing updates. * Developing new user-facing features using React.js. * Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers. Requirements * In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and front-end languages. * Comfortable working with CSS preprocessors such as Sass and Less. * Ability to write readable and logically sound JavaScript. * Strong experience with user interface design. * Great experience working as a React.js Developer. * Knowledge of React tools including React.js, Webpack, Enzyme, Redux, and Flux. * Familiarity with task runners like Grunt and Webpack, and experience working on large-scale/complex front-end projects. * Ability to empathize with the many different types of users who use Kuda. * Ability to think through product requirements and solve problems quickly. * Passion for performance, accessibility, and application design.
