WE’RE HIRING❗️❗️❗️ FRONTEND ENGINEER Company: Ankur Global — Technology & Engineering Location: Lagos, Nigeria Employment Type: Full-Time Level: Specialist 2H Monthly Salary: ₦400,000 – ₦600,000 Ankur Global, the technology arm of Data Network Infrastructures Limited (DNIL), is looking for an experienced Frontend Engineer to join our Technology & Engineering team. You will help build and own the interfaces of our live products, with an immediate focus on Tour, our consumer booking and payments platform. This is an opportunity to work on real production systems where quality, performance, reliability and accuracy matter. What You’ll Do Build responsive, accessible and high-quality web interfaces using React and Next.js. Own frontend areas from development through production, including quality and performance. Build complete user experiences covering loading, empty, error and permission states. Integrate frontend applications with REST and real-time APIs. Ensure accuracy across payment, fee and customer-consent flows. Diagnose and fix bugs at the root cause while preventing recurrence. Participate in peer reviews and submit review-ready work with test evidence. Provide clear weekly progress updates and proactively communicate risks. What We’re Looking For 4+ years of experience building production web applications. Strong proficiency in React, Next.js, TypeScript and modern JavaScript. Ability to translate UX designs into pixel-accurate, responsive interfaces. Experience with Tailwind, Styled Components or component libraries. Practical experience integrating REST APIs and real-time data/WebSockets. Familiarity with Jest, React Testing Library or Cypress. Working knowledge of Git, CI/CD and containerised deployments. Strong ownership mindset, accountability and communication skills. Nice to Have: Experience in fintech/payments, React Native or mobile development, accessibility standards, and performance optimisation at scale.
