Professional Appointment Setter — Scheduler - Work From Home Independent Contractor | Ohio Preferred | Eastern Time Zone We are seeking a polished, dependable business-to-business appointment setter to help introduce local companies to our established community magazine and digital marketing programs. For more than seven years, we have helped reputable businesses build relationships with affluent, high-value homeowners in Stark and surrounding counties in Ohio through beautifully produced community magazines. Each publication features a local family on the cover from that community with a three- to four-page story inside, local interesting content and stories creating a trusted and highly personal connection with residents. We help brand reputable quality businesses. In addition to our magazines, we offer businesses a complete OMNI CHANNEL marketing platform that includes: Targeted Meta advertising Digital display advertising Business listings and reputation-building reviews Professionally designed, top-performing custom websites Long-term branding within desirable local communities The Position You will call qualified leads we provide or you gather on your own. Reaching out to local businesses and speak with owners, executives, marketing directors, or other decision-makers. Your primary responsibility will be to create interest to simply have a 30-45 minute meeting and schedule quality appointments for us to present our marketing opportunities. This is not a customer-service position or a typical telemarketing position. We need someone who is comfortable initiating professional conversations, confidently explaining the purpose of the call, overcoming basic objections, and securing firm appointments with legitimate decision-makers. We Are Looking for Someone Who: Speaks fluent, clear, professional English Has a pleasant, confident telephone presence Is experienced in appointment setting, sales, recruiting, telemarketing, or business development Can communicate effectively with business owners and senior decision-makers Is dependable, organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently Can accurately document calls, contact information, follow-ups, and scheduled appointments Is based in Ohio if possible, or at minimum works within the Eastern Time Zone Has a quiet home office, dependable telephone service, and reliable internet access Experience contacting locally owned businesses, medical practices, home-service companies, professional firms, automotive businesses, financial companies, or other established organizations is especially valuable. Compensation and Schedule This is a work-from-home independent-contractor position offering a very lucrative hourly wage for the right person. The schedule can offer flexibility, but calls must be made during normal weekday business hours. We are more interested in finding one exceptional, dependable person than hiring a large team of callers.
